  11. I have a 486 motherboard with the following bios (from the start up)

  14. 1442G OPTI 895 1.0 6/23/94
  15. 6/14/94 OPTI 802G-2C4UKA21-00.00

  17. i would like a new bios upgrade and i called some bios upgrade 
  18. companies in pc magazine, but they wanted $80 to upgrade the bios
  19. and they said it might be cheaper if i can contact the manufacturer
  20. but i have had no luck trying to call Opti or anyone else for that
  21. matter. the $80 price seems really high for a motherboard that costed
  22. the same.
